Building Texas Partnerships
The Texas Career Partners (or “TXCAPS”) organization brings community/technical colleges and employers together to discuss employment strategies and to build stronger networks to serve Texas community college students.
From El Paso to Athens, Levelland to McAllen, and all points in between, members attend the annual state conference each year to learn about new employment trends, share success stories, network, and continue important professional friendships.
Employers are encouraged to join. In addition to networking, Human Resources personnel benefit from developing new referral resources and contacts at their local community college, as well as having an exhibit booth at the conference about their services.
Colleges and employers create a win-win partnership for Texas.
